Cynthia Jasso, LMSW (bilingual English & Spanish)


Cynthia received her Bachelor of Arts in degree from the College of Saint Benedict, and recently obtained her Masters of Social Work degree at The University of Texas at Arlington.  Cynthia brings a lot of experience with her, including:  case management, professional development, psychoeducational groups, medical social work, bio-psychosocial assessments and individual therapy. In her role as a community case manager, she provided education on mental health symptoms and coping strategies, helping clients learn how to advocate for themselves and build practical tools for daily life. These experiences deepened her understanding of the complex and intersectional challenges many individuals face when accessing care-insight that continues to shape her inclusive, equity-informed approach to therapy. Cynthia is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Cynthia is a compassionate and client-centered therapist who is passionate about creating a safe and empowering space where you can show up fully as yourself and be met with empathy and understanding. Her approach is grounded in warmth, respect, non-judgement, cultural humility, and a deep belief in your ability to heal and grow on your own terms. She strives to listen deeply, guide gently, and honor your unique story while working collaboratively to support you towards attaining the meaningful life you deserve. 

Cynthia prefers to work with clients aged 13+ individually.  She also may assist with our RESTART IOP groups.  Cynthia has experience or interest in working with self-esteem, depression, anxiety, attachment issues, domestic abuse, perfectionism, women's issues, coping tools, life transitions, stress, and relationship & interpersonal issues.  

Treatment Orientation: Cynthia has an eclectic approach, bringing in therapeutic intervention from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused, Dialectical behavioral Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Strengths-based, and trauma-focused therapy. 

Fees: Cynthia's full fee is $135 ($150 for intakes), and she accepts referrals from "Open Path Collective" at a reduced rate of $70-80.  She accepts Aetna & Cigna through supervisory billing.   

Cynthia's license number is 114611, and her NPI is in process. She is supervised by David T. Marsden, LCSW-S (#26235).
