Sydney Morris, BS, LCDC-i
Sydney is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern, supervised by Misty Harris, LCDC. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas. She has been working with our programs as a Group Assistant to gain experience and learn from our seasoned Therapists and Substance Use Counselors. She is certified in facilitating MRT (Moral Reconation Therapy) groups, and is trained in facilitating the Voices curriculum by Stephanie Covington. Voices was created to address the unique needs of adolescent girls and young women. It encourages them to seek and celebrate their "true" selves" by providing a safe space, encouragement, structure, and the support they need to embrace their journeys of self-discovery. Sydney assists with our virtual groups, provides case management to our clients, and assists with other program tasks. She has plans to pursue her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, and become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Fees: Sydney offers substance use counseling on a sliding fee basis, based on household income and number of dependents. contact our office for rates.
