Ja'Cordia (Emon) Hill, LCSW

Emon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in our Plano office. She received her Master's of Social Work degree from Texas A&M University Commerce.  As a therapist, she specializes in helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, racial issues, self-esteem, body image, and more.  She also has extensive experience in supporting those affected by domestic violence.  

Growing up in an urban communit where mental health was often misunderstood or overlooked, she developed a deep passion for mental health advocacy.  Her goal is to bring mental health to the forefront, emphasizing that it is integral to every aspect of our lives.  She believes in a holistic approach to well-being. This means that while she focuses on your mental health, she also considers other vital aspects of your life, such as physical health, nutrition, and your social environment.  Sometimes, this may involve making changes, such as distancing from individuals who may be draining your energy.

Treatment Orientation : Emon's therapeutic approach is rooted in person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family/Marital Therapy, strengths-based, and trauma-informed therapy.
